Calling all parents of young’uns, and wannabe-Hoarders-cast-members, this one’s for you. Walmart is offering a $30 Walmart gift card when you bring in an old car seat.
Pros:
- They’ll recycle the parts and you get free $$.
- You’ll feel vindicated for all those times people asked you why you still have your college-aged child’s car seat in the garage
The trade-in event runs September 16 – 30th, and is valid in-store, though not at Neighborhood Markets. Limit of 2 Walmart gift cards per household. Booster seats not eligible. (Which may or may not have been a bummer to me, since I may or may not be hoarding at least 3 booster seats in my garage.)
